Robert B. Rosenstein the founder and president of The Law Offices of Rosenstein & Associates, has been providing legal services for over 35 years, and in the Temecula Valley for over 23 years. While most of our clients are from the Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Fallbrook, Menifee and the surrounding Southwest Riverside County area, we have assisted clients throughout the United States and internationally. We have been successful throughout the United States in providing representation to our clients in both state and federal courts. Robert B. Rosenstein is the president and a founder of The Law Offices of Rosenstein & Associates. He has been licensed in the State of California since 1979, and is also licensed to practice law before the United States District Courts (Central, Northern and Southern Districts), the United States Bankruptcy Courts (Central, Northern and Southern Districts), the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Tax Court. Mr. Rosenstein is a member of the American Bar Association, Southwest Riverside County Bar Association, and the Riverside County Bar Association. He received his undergraduate education at California State University Northridge, graduating in 1976 and received his legal education from Southwestern University School of Law, graduating in 1979. From February, 2004 through May, 2015, Mr. Rosenstein was the Managing Party of the Law Offices of Rosenstein & Hitzeman, AAPLC.
Mr. Rosenstein is an experienced business attorney and over the years has assisted clients in the management, growth and reorganization of their businesses. Mr. Rosenstein has developed an expertise in working with clients to assist them in forming and growing their businesses. The legal assistance that he provides to the clients of Rosenstein & Associates includes legal services relating to business formations; drafting of contracts; negotiating leases, the filing for trademarks and copyrights; and resolving tax problems including audits and tax litigation. Mr. Rosenstein has been lead counsel in working with various clients in order to reorganize their business, both within and outside of Chapter 11; the work he has performed has saved clients in excess of a combined amount of over twenty million dollars through drafting and implementation of reorganization or liquidation plans. Robert B. Rosenstein is also an experienced litigator handling business and transactional disputes.
Mr. Rosenstein has served on several committees of the American Bar Association, including the Committees of Taxation, Sole Practice and Corporations. Mr. Rosenstein served as the Vice Chairman of the Small and Emerging Business section of the American Bar Association. Over the years, Mr. Rosenstein has been a member of the Small Business, Corporations, Environmental Law and Taxation sections of the California State Bar.
As an accomplished lawyer, Mr. Rosenstein helped prepare the outline and reviewed the first edition of the American Bar Association’s book for business titled The American Bar Association Legal Guide for Small Business. Mr. Rosenstein is currently a member of the American Bar Association Advisory Panel, which provides advice and insight to the American Bar Association pertaining to various legal and professional matters concerning the practice of law throughout the United States.
Mr. Rosenstein is active in the business community and he currently is a member of the Board of Directors of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Board of Directors of Temple Beth Sholom, where he serves as the Treasurer, a Board Member of the Temecula Theater Foundation, a member of the Advisory Board of the Assistance League and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Counsel for California State University, San Marcos.
Being a husband and father of five, Mr. Rosenstein knows the value of hard work and dedication. The goal of practicing law in a firm based upon ethics and professionalism is a key principle upon which Rosenstein & Associates was founded.
Shaun V. Knapp is an associate attorney for the Law Offices of Rosenstein & Associates and has been licensed to practice law in the State of California since 2010. Mr. Knapp is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central District of California, and the Eastern District of Missouri.
From 1986 to 1990, Mr. Knapp served on active duty with the United States Army as a Chemical Officer both in the Republic of Korea and in the United States. After active duty, Mr. Knapp served in the Individual Ready Reserve. During his service, Mr. Knapp achieved the rank of Captain. Mr. Knapp has worked for over 25 years in the Environmental Health and Safety field. Mr. Knapp attended the United
States Military Academy at West Point, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton in 1986, and his Juris Doctor from Concord Law School at Purdue University Global in 2009. Since joining Rosenstein & Associates, Mr. Knapp has assisted clients in trademark and infringement matters, provided assistance in drafting business agreements, employment agreements. Mr. Knapp has also provided assistance for clients relating to EEOC actions and employee disputes.
Mr. Knapp is a husband and father of two. Mr. Knapp’s background in the military, and in corporate management positions, has instilled in him the belief that hard work, dedication and honesty are the keys to success. It is these values, in addition to his legal knowledge, that shapes Mr. Knapp’s dedication to the clients of Rosenstein & Associates.
Jenny Shin is an associate attorney for the Law Offices of Rosenstein & Associates, and has been licensed to practice law in the State of California since 2000. Jenny is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts (Southern, Northern, Central and Eastern Districts), the United States Bankruptcy Court (Southern District), and the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit.
Jenny will be concentrating her practice in estate planning matters, transactional matters and employment law. Her practice will include probate and trust administration.
Jenny has over 10 years’ experience counseling employers in all aspects of the employment relationship with emphasis on hiring practices, employment agreements, employee handbooks, employment separation and wage and hour matters. She is an experienced estate planning attorney and has also represented clients in civil litigation at the state and federal level and before governmental agencies.
Jenny is a member of the Bar Association of Southwest Riverside County, the Riverside County Bar Association and the California Lawyers Association. She is an active member of her church and the Temecula community, volunteering extensively for the Temecula Valley Unified School District and various youth music organizations.
Jenny received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of California, Riverside and her Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
